Product Description

SAP BW Connector for Axle Studio provides SAP BW data to Axle Studio users in a transparent way. The user does not work directly with SAP BW and does not need to know any details of the BW implementation. The connector includes 2 components:

· an interface component (DLL) for Axle Studio

· an Add-On for SAP BW with its own name space registered at SAP AG to prevent

conflicts with other products

Extraction of InfoProviders (standard InfoCubes, MultiProvider) and database tables from SAP BW

Support for SAP BW security concept

Communication with SAP BW via Remote Function Calls (RFCs)

The current Axle Studio release is completely compatible with Microsoft's new Windows Vista product. Furthermore, users currently working within the Microsoft Windows XP can now change over to the new Office 2007 (Vista) look when desired.

Distribution and security

Axle Studio has developed a new centralized distribution and security module for a select group of customers. In April 2007 this module will become available as part of the Axle Studio suite of products. The Axle Studio team has again chosen to produce a revolutionary approach with emphasis on user friendliness whereby the entire distribution and security structure is presented graphically in a pyramid management system.

Datamart functionality introduced

Axle Studio adds datamart functionality. For small to large business, the datamart solution offers significant advantages. For large business, the load on existing datawarehouse systems (and also the cost) is significantly reduced.
